Respect A Woman's Right to Choose Mike Forster, Palo Alto California Our nation must continue to respect a woman's right to choose.
No one - no person and no government - has the legitimate authority ... or wisdom ... to tell a woman what she can do within her own body. Anyone has the right to attempt to discourage a woman's choice of an abortion, through advertising and offers of counseling. However, that right stops short of intimidation. If an pro-life advocate expects the exercise the right to free speech to discourage abortions, that advocate must also respect the right of the woman and her doctor to exercise that choice without fear.
